2. Purpose of the app and data processing

The app Flow Trigger Plus extends the functionality of Shopify Flow with additional triggers for automations.
The app enables triggers for the following events in particular:

  • Product Update

  • Customer Update

  • Order Update

These triggers allow Shopify merchants to better automate internal processes.

3. Types of data processed

a) Product trigger

Product updates process only product information (e.g., product ID, title, price, inventory data) provided via the Shopify API.

b) Customer triggers

During customer updates, customer data is technically routed through our backend to be forwarded to Shopify Flow .
We do not store this data permanently . It is only processed temporarily (in memory or briefly in log data) to trigger the action.

c) Order trigger

During order updates, order data (order IDs, status information, etc.) is also only processed transiently and passed on to Shopify Flow.
No data is stored or used for other purposes .

4. Legal basis for processing

The processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (for the performance of a contract) and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest) in order to ensure the technical functionality and performance of the app.

5. Data sharing

We only share data with Shopify Flow (Shopify Inc.) within the scope of the app's functionality.
Shopify is the independent data controller within the meaning of the GDPR.
Data will not be shared with third parties outside the Shopify ecosystem.

6. Data Storage and Deletion

We do not permanently store any personal data .
Temporarily processed data (e.g. logs or temporary API requests) will be deleted or anonymized after a maximum of 24 hours .

7. Security of processing

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and keep our systems up-to-date in accordance with current security standards.
The data is processed exclusively on servers within the European Union or, by agreement, in third countries with an adequate level of data protection .

8. Rights of data subjects

Users (shop operators) have the right to:

  • Information about the processed data (Art. 15 GDPR)

  • Correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)

  • Erasure or restriction of processing (Art. 17 f. GDPR)

  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

  • Right to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)

9. Order processing

If Shopify Flow processes personal data within the app, this is done on the basis of Shopify's Data Processing Addendum (DPA) , which complies with GDPR requirements.

10. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy to adapt it to changed legal or technical requirements.
The latest version is available via the app and/or in the Shopify App Store.
