Processing data when using external webhook triggers in Shopify Flow

Our app extends Shopify Flow with the ability to integrate external events into your automations using so-called webhook triggers.

This allows external systems to trigger specific processes in your Shopify store – for even smarter and more efficient automation.

When using this function, we only process the data necessary to execute the respective automation. This includes:

  • the payload transmitted by the external system (content of the webhook)

  • and the time of receipt of the webhook

No IP addresses are stored . The data is used exclusively to execute the defined flow automation and is not used for analysis, tracking, or profiling purposes .

Processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (performance of contract) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in automated business processes). Data will only be transferred to third parties if technically necessary or required by law .
